The Mitral Foundation is a 509(a)(3) supporting organization with the purpose to support the Mitral Valve Repair Reference Center at The Mount Sinai Hospital. The Mitral Foundation complies with all IRS regulations and is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. All donations made to the Mitral Foundation are fully tax-exempt.

The Mitral Foundation has adopted a conflict of interest policy covering any dealings with any directors or company in which they have a financial interest.
